18th & Guerrero

When it comes to my mid-week trips into San Francisco I tend to stick with the usual suspects (outside of my meetings that is). More likely than not, and usually without planning, I’ll find myself heading over to Fillmore Street, Polk (my old hood), or 18th & Guerrero (aka Tartine Bakery). Last week I had every intention of breaking out of my norm however when my friend Michelle told me she had never been to Tartine, well, obviously I just had to take one for the team and indulge in my brunch fave. It was rough I tell ya…

Without fail I always order the quiche of the day (I’m a quiche / egg girl after all), and a morning bun. I try to have a little self control and take half of the bun home to my guy, although sometimes it doesn’t make it through that car ride home. (We all know it’s the thought that counts though.)

And no trip to Tartine, or the Mission for that matter, is complete without picking up some blooms at Bi-Rite. Always a must.

These bloomed to be the size of my head–no joke–wish I had a picture of that.

Oh and here I am waaay excited about these guys.

Wearing:  Vince Leather Jacket (similar).  Anine Bing Top + Boots.  Frame Denim Jeans.  Jérôme Dreyfuss Bag (similar).  Norma Kamali Sunglasses (similar).

And a note about my simple look… which is basically the SF uniform (skinnies + a leather jacket). Anine Bing is my latest designer obsession. I want every piece from her line as it’s all effortlessly cool and versatile. I have to give credit to my girl, Sam for introducing me to the line when we were in LA together. We both did some damage and walked out of Anine’s showroom in matching tops and boots.
