3 Pre-Fall Essentials

I’ve been running around this week finishing up a few projects before we fly off to London on Friday (!!!).  I’m so excited as it’s been a few years since I’ve been and I just love that city so much.  Taking any and all recommendations–and thank you to those who already left me some here!

While killing time in San Francisco earlier this week (I had to get Rex’s passport expedited which is a whole saga of a post in itself!) I popped over to Nordstrom to pick up a few fall essentials for our trip.  I can’t wait for the cooler fall-like temps, and the chance to pull out my sweaters especially since it’s still in the hundreds here in Sacramento (ugh.).  I have a few fancier events and was on the hunt for some easy dresses to pack when I found this sweet wrap style that feels both classic and sexy… and was under $100.  So that was a win.  I love the subtle pattern and lace detailing around the neckline.  Wrap dresses are always so flattering.  I paired it with boots here (these are crazy comfy and such a great pair for fall–they also come in a pretty rust color) but I’m also picturing wearing this dress with strapy black heels for a date night out while in London.

Another fall essential that I scooped up for the trip: the perfect camel cardigan.  And the slouchy-ier and more oversized the better!  This Vince cashmere knit is extra cozy and what I plan to wear on that red eye.  Another great more affordable option.

I really love the tie detail on these sleeves!  Another chic LBD option in a similar silhouette and also around the same price point.
