A Favorite Natural Baby Skincare Brand

Bath time with Rex might just be one of my most favorite times.  He’s so innocent and trusting that it just melts my heart!  I wouldn’t necessarily say that he loves baths at this stage but he’s calm, and we make sure to keep things quick.  (And that he’s well fed beforehand so we don’t have any meltdowns).  It’s some of the sweetest moments we have together as a family–as it’s most definitely a two person job (one to hold Rex because he wiggles around so much, and one to do the cleaning).  Side Note: how babies this young get so dirty is beyond me.  He sure does collect a lot of lint in those curled up fists of his!

I’ve become much more aware of the products I use on my own skin and so naturally I have been very careful about what I use on Rex.  A product line I’ve been loving for him as it’s organic and completely plant based is Chantecaille Bébé. The chic luxury beauty brand, known for their high concentration of natural botanicals, launched their baby line when the founder’s daughter, Olivia had a baby of her own.  She wanted to create a pure, safe, high-quality product she trusted implicitly (and I’m glad she did!).  You can read more about the ingredients and certifications here.  The Flower Petal Hair & Body Wash and Wild Moss Rose Body Lotion are our favorites–both leaving his skin soft and smelling baby-deliciously fresh!
