Absolut Nights

Our home bar is finished!–which has already led to plenty of cocktail recipe experimentations and impromptu at-home happy hours. (As a fully stocked bar needs to be shared with friends!). My handsome bartender and I played around with a few new holiday cocktail recipes to kick start the break inspired by Absolut’s new limited edition bottle, Absolut Electrik.

While it’s fun to mix-up a signature cocktail, to take some of the pressure off yourself I let guests make their own creations. I set up a giant bowl filled with ice and all of the necessities: cranberry juice, ginger beer, sparkling lemon lime soda, pomegranate seeds to garnish, Absolut and of course plenty of fresh lemons and limes.

To play up the bottle metallic look, I added subtle touches of silver around our place–like these St. Frank coasters which I set out for guests to use–and even my look (how fun is this skirt and jacket combo for holiday parties or New Years Eve?)!

The best part about hosting happy hour? You can keep things simple when it comes to the bites!

My favorite combination: Absolut Vodka, a splash of cranberry juice, lemon lime sparkling soda, extra lime and pomegranate seeds to garnish.

In partnership with Absolut. Enjoy responsibly!
