Fall Wedding Guest: Metallic -

We have a few weddings on the calendar this fall and I am crushing hard on metallic [dresses] for the occasions.

This Alice + Olivia shimmery wrap style recently won me over! I sort of feel the excitement of my five year old self playing dress-up when slipping it on. Perhaps because it sparkles as I walk and in various lighting situations, making it feel all the more party-appropriate. The online description calls it gold but it’s definitely more of a silver in my opinion. It’s super comfy, and I like that it has sleeves for those chiller evening events (one of the weddings is in Chicago so I think it will be cooler and the other is completely outdoors). Accessorized here with statement earrings and a nude pump (this one is a chic under $100 option). I’m so hard on my heels so I like picking up a classic nude and black pair that I won’t have to worry about destroying by the end of the season.
