Flared

30 March

Flares and cropped tops I’m all about you this spring! My girlfriend Chris talked me into buying this cute blouse while in New York last month and I’m still getting used to the fact that it shows more stomach than I’m actually comfortable with but I love it so much that I want to make it work. I’ve also since gone through my closet and have decided that I want to find in a cute pair of high-waisted shorts to pair it with. To be continued… but in the meantime I’ve found my ideal pair of high-waisted flares thanks to my denim go-to: Citizens of Humanity. They just fit me the best!

Hi Alicia! Did you have these hemmed? I’m petite and finding flares with an appropriate inseam length seems well nigh impossible. Any tips?

@maqsadshop:disqus hiii! yes I hem ALL of my jeans. For these flares I had the original hem put on. Finding a great tailor is key when you’re a shorty… and the most flattering length for flares is skimming the ground so hem them to the shoe height you plan to wear with them. 😉
