madewell sezane new york striped tee

Madewell et Sézane

24 July

A girl can never have too many striped basics, and this one combines so many of my favorite things all in one tee. Perfect boyfriend style fit–check. Parisian designed, New York inspired–check, check! Madewell’s second collaboration with the former stylist and designer Morgan Sézalory of Sézane is, as expected, super cute! French cool-girl style made easy. I’m partial to this NY tee as you know my love for that city is endless, but there are so many other pieces I’m crushing on like this sweatshirt.

Paired here with high-waisted flares = an easy go-to Friday style. And a note about these Frame flares–I ordered them for myself after falling for them at market this past spring. The fit is so good so yes, they will be coming to Syllabus in a dark wash this fall.

  • I recently got myself a pair of Le High by Frame and I love them. They are a mile long on me and I’m six feet tall. Hurrah! I assume you have taken yours up, since you seem shorter than me. 😉 I’m also in love with striped clothes and have just added a striped dress to my forever incomplete collection.

@disqus_R5nKVyKchd:disqus so glad you like them too! And yes, I definitely had mine hemmed (as I do most jeans)… since I’m only 5’1” 😉

You look great in these jeans! I am also vertically-challenged and have been a tad apprehensive to buy a pair of flared pants. I used to wear them in high school, with many other questionable items, hah… Thanks for the inspiration!

      • Haha, I always want to take down my jeans. Until I met this pair, that is! I might actually rehem them a tad shorter, so I will get more wear out of them. Now I can only wear them with my highest heels and, let’s face it, those are not the most comfortable. 😉

  • Love the exaggerated pockets on your denim! Such an easy, fun look!
