A Morning in Marylebone | Chiltern Firehouse and Monocle Cafe

Working through sharing my London photos!… here’s a look from one of my free mornings hanging in the adorable neighborhood of Marylebone.  It was our first morning without plans and so we made breakfast reservations at Chiltern Firehouse. Not going to lie, sleeping in sounded better when my alarm actually went off but I’m so glad we got up for an early start to the day.  I was also super excited to go as Tanner and I had actually made reservations when we were in London this past fall but sadly mixed up our days/times and missed our chance to eat there that trip.  Anyway, well worth trying for a second time around, even just for breakfast.  I’d still like to go back for dinner as well as I’ve heard it’s the perfect date-night spot.  Also dying to stay there one day!  After feasting on some delicious eggs and avocado toast we wandered across the street, stumbling upon an awesomely curated magazine shop (if only I had more room in my suitcase to bring more mags back), and the adorable Monocle Café (you’ve probably seen their travel guides!).

On this particular morning I wore a floral IRO dress belted.  It’s a dress I’ve been wearing non-stop this winter season from baby showers to events or just around the house.  It’s one of those that’s versatile and can be dressed up / down and can go both edgy or feel more boho depending on your mood and how you style it.  After wearing it mainly without a belt back home and usually just with bare feet when at home, I actually now prefer it belted and paired with tights and a leather jacket for more of an edgier look.

The Look |  GBTSO Top.  IRO Jacket (on sale) + Dress.  Isabel Marant Belt.  Stuart Weitzman Boots (also love).  Gucci Bag.
