The Timeless Camel Coat

I spent this past weekend with all of my best ladies (mom, sister, and cousins) wedding dress shopping for my sister!  As much fun as it was to go through that process as a bride-to-be myself, I think it’s been even more fun watching my sister go through it.  She knew exactly what she wanted so instead of the back-to-back bridal appointments we had originally planned she found the dress by 11am, which meant we popped a bottle of champagne and headed to lunch to celebrate.  We spent the rest of Saturday shopping, got pedicures, an early pre-dinner glass of wine and rounded out the evening at a cute little Italian spot indulging in our fair share of pasta.  Our staycation was extra special as I coordinated all of us to stay at The Palace Hotel–you may remember it’s my favorite classic SF hotel to stay at when in the city.  Last time I stayed at the Palace look how small Rex was–(additional past staycations featured herehere–and in New York here).

It was cooler in the city than it has been in Sacramento which meant I got to wear my camel coat.  I am so in love with this high collar wool blend style from Vince.  It’s chic, classic, and exactly what I’ve been looking for!  I wore it all weekend long with black suede pants as seen here and more causally with high-rise denim and a white tee on Saturday.  A few other classic camel coats I’m crushing on that are equally as timeless…
