Zebra Is The New

As you may know, around the time I started this blog I was going through quite the cheetah and leopard print phase. It’s pretty funny to look back on it–my guy along with a few other male friends would tease me and even called me “cheetah” because I seemed to always be wearing some iteration of the print. (Boys.) And while I still have a soft spot for those true solid black spots, I really don’t discriminate when it comes to animal prints. I dig them all. In fact, to me Cheetah is the New Black has more to do with stepping outside of your comfort zone, trying new things (maybe a daring print?), not taking fashion too seriously and most of all having fun with it. Because I think we can all agree animal prints are fun?! You really can’t have a blah day when you’re wearing that bold or playful of a pattern.

I had fun reminiscing on my early cheetah days and running with Ann Taylor’s zebra-printed theme, styling a few items with pieces from my personal closet to bring these feisty combos to life.  As a bonus Ann Taylor is giving away a $300 gift card to one lucky reader. For a chance to win leave a comment below, or over here (whatever’s easiest) stating your favorite look! (I’ll announce the winner next Thursday.)
