There’s definitely something sweet about having people recognize your scent. Like when you haven’t seen your girlfriend for a while and the scent of her perfume takes you back to the dorm rooms–I mean it doesn’t get better than that. And since hearing (somewhere?) that you’re supposed to figure out your signature scent by 30 and never change it for that very reason, I’ve stuck with my personal favorite, rose, ever since turning the big 3-O last fall. I whittled down my stash of bottles only wearing Le Labo Rose 31 until just recently as I was turned onto Jo Malone Velvet Rose & Oud. Which smells insanely good! I’d have to say it’s now my number one.
