My guy and I are starting to think about buying a house in the near future–pretty major for us as just a little over a year ago the thought of a house made me beyond claustrophobic. We’re still in the very early stages–discovering what style home suits us best along with where–but of course my mind has been obnoxiously consumed with decor day dreams. And after this past week in New York, those dreams have been all about the color gold. From the lighting and faucets at The Ludlow to ornate gold mirrors, and my personal favorite: a solid gold painted wall as seen at the AERIN showroom, I want the undeniably chic, rich, and cool color everywhere.
This past week I had the chance to stop by the AERIN showroom in the New York Design Center for a little home decor inspiration and had to share these pretty snaps! Aerin Lauder, granddaughter to Esteé Lauder, loves gold and has basically created her entire lifestyle brand around the color… I’m fully on board.
