Turns out a little color on the lips when you’re 40 weeks pregnant is pretty gosh darn good for the spirit. When you can’t fit into much and you’re starting to really feel rather uncomfortable, styling your hair and playing with some new berry hued lipsticks (tis the season!) does wonders. During that final week I found myself mixing and matching a few different shades together and created my perfect holiday lip shade. Not so secret recipe below.
Recipe | 1 coat Bobbi Brown Blackberry 8 + top with Bobbi Brown Naked Tube Tint
The gloss adds a pretty shimmer and has also been my go-to everyday shade when I want just a hint of nude brown color. It’s perfect.
I completed the holiday beauty look with a new mascara obsession from Smith & Cult, ILIA highlighter on my cheeks for added glow and fluffed up the hair with my favorite dry texturizing spray from Oribe. All of which were from Byrdie’s Holiday Beauty Box (7 editor approved beauty obsessions!).
