Minimal and Neutral Nursery Inspiration

Okay so if we were having another boy I don’t know if I’d even bother to redecorate Rex’s nursery (which now looks more like this).  I’d probably just leave it as is truth be told.  BUT since we’re having a girl and it’s hitting me that this could be our last baby… I’m planning a bit of a nursery refresh, and we’re bumping Rex down the hall into a “big boy room” as well.  I’m not planning to do anything crazy and we will be using all of the same furniture and crib, but I’ve been having fun pinning inspiration from some of the mamas I turn to the most for decor inspiration (um, hi Jenni Kayne).  You know I love a minimal aesthetic (our entire house is mainly white with pops of black and dark wood accents)… so I’m thinking an all-neutral room with accents of creams and maybe some muted pinks.  Sharing some of my favorite minimal and neutral nurseries from around the web and some of the sweet items that are making me seriously swoon and getting me oh so very excited about that newborn stage again!

I can’t believe it’s almost time to pull this sweet cradle back out.  You may remember from previous posts when Rex was born that my Nana had it made over 35 years ago when my first cousin was born.  We now have closets where the cradle was in this corner so we will have to rejigger things a bit, but I love that it has the sweetest memories and has rocked and slept so many of the babies in my family.

Favorite brands for cribs and furniture:  Kalon (LA based and American made designs–all products are non-toxic, handcrafted to order, and created with the highest quality finishes).  Oeuf (where Rex’s crib is from–we have the Sparrow crib in walnut).

I’m loving the muted tones with  subtle hint of pink.

Some sweet finds from St. Frank.
