6 Friendsgiving Hostess Ideas

First off I feel like I’ve missed a month and can’t believe we’re in November. Secondly, yay, November! Before we know it Thanksgiving and the holidays will be here. I’ve never hosted Thanksgiving or an official “Friendsgiving” (actually my girlfriends and I used to plan a Boston Market feast every year in college so maybe that counts?)–but I think this might be my year. I mean now that I have a larger kitchen / dining situation I think I can do it (a.k.a. I’ll make everyone bring a dish and I’ll just do the decorating and maybe dessert, although my Nana makes the best pumpkin pies…).

I’ve tossed around the idea with my mom and I think it’s going to happen. And now after this past Wednesday’s Gather Friendsgiving event in San Francisco hosted by Brit + Co I’m officially inspired. Here’s a glimpse at some of their hostess ideas for those planning on hosting yourself.

Succulent favors (you know I love my cacti!). Create mini greens for your guests to take home.
