When I first moved to Sacramento I will admit I was a bit pessimistic and quick to compare it to New York and San Francisco. I made a running list and drove my guy crazy with all of my thoughts and comments on what I thought the city was missing. A pressed juice shop was high up there as New York turned me into a green juice-a-day kind of girl (the healthy buzz is addicting), and so needless to say when I found out about Liquidology through my pilates studio I was ecstatic.
Flash forward a couple of months. I met and instantly hit it off with Jules–the stunning founder behind the brand. While visiting Jules at the farmers market one Saturday she mentioned she had been making healthy summer popsicles for her boys. Um, yum! I wanted in on the fun, and so I sort of invited myself over to her place recently to make berry and green juice pops. They’re both super simple, and perfect for the holiday weekend. Recipes below!
Over the Rainbow Pops
blend and freeze: 6 leaves romain lettuce + 2 baskets organic strawberries + 1 basket organic blueberries
freeze: 1 bottle Liquidology Glow Juice (my personal fave) + organic raspberries / blueberries + kiwi slices
* For those who are local, Liquidology’s organic cold pressed juices may be purchased every Saturday at the East Sacramento Farmers Market in McKinley Park as well as their commissary on Sundays and Fridays (for more information you can email: [email protected]). AND coming soon (July 28th), at their new juice boutique located at 924 57th Street in East Sacramento (an exciting collaboration with UBarre Pilates Studio)
