Marlowe

I’m one of those odd girls whose tastebuds crave kale (or anything green) over red meat any day–but when I am in the mood, there are a few go-to burger spots that top my list.  Of course, In-N-Out is always right up there as a number one option, but if you’re in San Francisco, specifically SOMA–Marlowe is another top contender.

On this specific occasion I brought my girlfriend Stephanie for her first Marlowe burger experience.  We wanted to order everything on the menu so we opted to split a salad, buttered brussels sprouts and the burger.  Mmm.  Stephanie was a fan.  The burger has cheese and bacon, and that girl loves her bacon so of course she liked it!  But for me, it’s the aioli that really makes this burger extra tasty.

So next time you’re in the neighborhood snag a spot at the bar, order the burger and fries and take in the clean black and white decor (so classic and always my favorite!).  If you’re able to go at an off time (later afternoons) you’ll have no problem walking right in.  By the time we left, the lunch crowd had almost cleared out completely letting us snag these people-less snaps!

So, now, the most important question of the day–where’s your favorite burger in the city(Or in general?)
