Organization Station

A few weeks back I talked my guy into helping me drag this vintage file cabinet and locker back to our apartment. I had been on the look out for something to help me organize my life desk area and at first I thought I just wanted the locker but after spotting this killer pair at Fringe I knew they just shouldn’t be separated. Turns out, they’ve both been lifesavers in helping me get organized. Everything now has a place and I’m feeling more responsible and adult-like than ever. (Also a major thanks to my mom who came down to help me last week). I swear I had some sort of system in New York but since moving, I’ve had an embarrassing pile-up of receipts and miscellaneous important documents (oh the lovely aspects of a freelance life) that sure made my mom gasp. It may have taken us all day to sort and create folders for everything but gosh does it feel good now. Tax season you better believe I’m ready for you this year. I’m not excited about it, but I’m ready!

We got the locker home and I opened it up to find this inspiring reminder inside!
