Last Friday was one of those amazing Indian Summer San Francisco days. By mid-morning I had peeled off the layers I had started in, and splurged on $10 worth of quarters in my meter so I could enjoy a few extra minutes of sunshine at an outdoor cafe in Hayes Valley. After packing and prepping for our move all week this much needed “me” time in between appointments was so needed.
Speaking of the move–I completely underestimated how scattered I would be after the fact. I still can’t find most of my shoes or a decent bra, and we’ve been without internet all week. You’d think that after conquering 2 cross country moves just packing up and moving 20 blocks would be a breeze. Yeah, not so much this time around. Besides the lack-of-internet inconvenience (the worst), on the flip side, the unexpected pause and disconnected screen time break has been so healthy. Actually, honestly, it’s been the best. We all need to be better about hitting that refresh button and checking-out more often.
Now let’s chat about this look–1 ) high-waisted denim is the only kind of denim I’m wearing right now. They make my 5’1” legs actually look long and this pair is my current fave for that cool vintage feel. 2) I’m constantly hunting for the perfect tee. I chatted for a while with a few girlfriends again just last night about the great tee-debate. We’re all on the quest aren’t we? Well I have my ideal fit and style and finally found it at a favorite higher end boutique: Curve. They make their own label (AOTC) and their deep v neck is so ideal. It is on the pricier side though (this one is a close second but I wish the v was deeper)… so basically, still forever on the hunt. 3) This dark brown leather color is so good I want to wear it everyday this fall. Along with these jeans, and these snake print boots of course.
