Found | The Perfect Combat Boot

This post is sponsored by Zappos… but, as always, all opinions are my own.

I finally found the perfect combat boot!  With the chilly temps we’ve had over this past month I’ve been living in these Frye Allison Chelsea boots.  They were the first item I tossed in the car when heading home to Chico for the holidays.  I had been on the look out for a combat boot with a thicker sole, something I could wear in various weather conditions (those drizzly but not pouring days) but still looked nice, and after searching around on Zappos (they have a great selection of Frye boot styles FYI) this boot fit my criteria.  Not only are they super comfy as Frye boots always are, warm and easy to slip on before running out the door chasing after a toddler, but the chunkier heel and tread that I had been wanting has proven to be awesome for sloshing around town and not having to worry about slipping in puddles and what not.  They’ve also been my go-to on the days Rex has his parent-child-pre-school class as they look nicer than rain boots, and we spend half of the day walking around the sweet farm and gardens that have been fairly muddy.  Just a little wipe down (why I love leather so much) and they look great again to pair with a blazer.

When on the hunt for a new pair of boots, I immediately went searching Frye’s assortment.  They’re just that durable, classic boot brand that seems to just get better with wear.  And of course Zappos is always a go-to when looking for shoes as it’s pretty hard to beat their quick and free shipping, assortment and 365 day return policy.
