Spring Uniform | A classic white button-up refresh

When in doubt, all-white… my spring uniform!  But what’s new?  I’m all about the classics when it comes to style, but crave pieces that are a bit more unique or special.  While in New York a few weeks back now, I popped by the Veronica Beard office and one of my favorite pieces that caught my eye on the racks from their new spring collection was this white button-up (comes in black too).  Such a classic but a little more unique so I just had to share!  The sweet tie detailing on the shoulders just got me!  Perfect to wear tucked-in for work, or worn out with jeans for a brunch date with girlfriends.

Also part of the spring uniform, but in beauty:  Chantecaille on my eyes (I love the colors in this gorgeous palette!) and lips.  Giorgio Armani and Laura Mercier for foundation and bronzing.

Worn here with my trusty pair of wide leg “dirty-white” pants.  I get a lot of questions about these–yes they are very long!–I chopped about 5 inches off (remember I’m 5’1”).  I love them so much and continuously grab for them so they’re totally worth the splurge in my mind… and I’ve been wearing them a few years now.  I’ve been tempted to order them again just to have a second pair.  Note: Rachel Comey also makes a slimmer style that I think depending on your body type is worth trying as well.  I have tried both styles and originally thought the slimmer style would fit me better but this wide leg pant is actually tighter around the waist and fits me much better.  Worth trying both!
