Cooler Mornings and Transitioning into Fall Style

The cooler temps this week and gray drizzly mornings have made it officially feel like fall is in the air.  I’ve been juggling both babes while Tanner has been traveling and this weather has just made me want to cozy up with them indoors.  We’ve been enjoying slow mornings in our pajamas, mini cinnamon and sugar donuts on our coffee dates, and early preschool pickups so I can get some extra hang-time with Rex.  I’ve pulled out my assortment of sweaters and knit dresses now that I can actually wear them and the two styles that have been getting a lot of play lately are both from Jenni Kayne.  This cocoon cardigan that I’ve already mentioned my love for (perfectly oversized!).  And this knit dress which I now own in three colors (a long sleeve black, sleeveless brown, and now this sleeveless one in olive thanks to the Jenni team for gifting me this one).  I bought and wore the black and brown through the winter months while pregnant with Willow and found them to be so flattering and all I wanted to wear as I continued to get bigger.  I love that they’re a thicker sweater material so they aren’t as “I can see everything going on under there” as other body-con sweater dresses.  I will say they’re also making me feel good about my post-baby body even though my stomach isn’t anywhere near where I’d want it to be yet.  Love a classic style that makes me feel my best.
