The Ludlow New York City

23 February

You may have noticed over here that I’m back in New York this week. Yay! So happy to be here–snowy-freezing-cold weather and all. I flew back east for the tail end of New York Fashion Week and a full schedule of meetings and market appointments (fall shopping for Syllabus!). I love that when I come to the city I quickly get into NY-mode, picking up as if I never left. I always try to sneak in as many dates with my girlfriends and have enjoyed a slower pace this weekend, fitting in many of my favorite eateries, and a couple art exhibits and museums as well.

Highlights so far have been: the YSL / Halston exhibit, a snow play date with my close girlfriend Chris, celebrating my friend Krystal’s birthday at The Fat Radish, more yummy eats at: Sant Ambroeus, Cafe Gitane (a must every time I come!), and Jacks Wife Freda Carmine (which is new and now directly across the street from my old apartment–definitely have been giving my guy a hard time about this!! tears!)… and lastly, switching things up and staying on the east side at The Ludlow.

Since I lived downtown and on the west side while in New York, I always stay in my old neighborhood because it feels familiar and I know how to get around the city from the W 4th stop the best, ha! This time around though I thought I’d switch things up and I’m so glad I did. It’s been fun to stay on the east side / near Nolita and to experience The Ludlow. It’s definitely my new favorite hotel and I’ll be staying here again and again! It’s such a great option for those coming to visit–reasonable rates!–super cool vibe / decor and the restaurant next door, Dirty French, has a super yummy and complimentary breakfast for guests.

I might be obsessed with the bathroom the most. (Those gold faucets!!)

The Look | Helmut Lang Sweater.  Treasures Suede Wrap (available at Syllabus*). Citizens of Humanity Jeans. IRO Booties.
