Outside of fashion week, the multi-level monochrome shopping experience that is Totokaelo was definitely the most talked about and instagramed spot while I was in New York. It’s the coolest new addition to Soho and you must add it to your NYC to-do list (along with this highly curated gem). I admittedly went three times in a matter of just a couple days. I had to share it with various friends–plus, there are so many levels and design elements to take in that I actually missed the lower all-black men’s section entirely on my first visit. There is such an interesting contrast between the women’s sections (all white) and the men’s (all black). It definitely made me want to consider an all black closet–dark yes, but how cool would that be?
