Vintage Blouse and Skirt, JCrew Necklace, Christian Louboutin Heels
Longer mid length and maxi skirts have been popping up all over the runways and I am completely supportive of this trend. The chic mid-calf 1970’s cut shows just the right amount of skin, looks sophisticated and most importantly, is flattering on all body types / heights. I am 5 foot 1 inch tall and thought this particular cut would make me look even shorter. Low and behold, with a pair of pumps (my beloved Christain Louboutins in this case) the length proved to actually be very elongating. I’m not bidding adieu to mini skirts but I will definitely be incorporating more mid-calf length skirts into my life this fall and winter.
